History
Founded in the midst of the worldwide Covid pandemic, Fenimore Chamber Orchestra has defied the odds to become a year-round ensemble that resonates with audiences, captivating both the local community and international visitors.
Starting in the fall of 2020, the founders sought out like-minded individuals to form the Board of Directors. Their efforts bore fruit, and in June 2021, Fenimore Chamber Orchestra was officially incorporated in the State of New York. The eagerly-awaited debut of Fenimore Chamber Orchestra took place on August 27, 2022 at historic Christ Church in Cooperstown, New York. A hand-picked ensemble of distinguished musicians came together to perform this landmark concert.
