2025 Young Person’s Concerto Competition Results
There were twenty-two entries submitted by the deadline as specified by the competition terms and conditions. Two entries did not meet the condition of submitting the recording of a complete work. Twenty entries met all competition criteria.
The jury, consisted of:
Debrah Devine, Principal Violin 2, Fenimore Chamber Orchestra
Daniel Hane, Principal Bassoon, Fenimore Chamber Orchestra
Maciej Żółtowski, Artistic Director, Fenimore Chamber Orchestra
Meeting on January 5, 2025 and January 19, 2025 and having examined all submitted recordings reached the conclusions:
First-Place Award | $1000 to Ms. Isabel Chen, performing W. A. Mozart: Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 3, K.216. $500 to Mr. Robin Scott for Teacher Recognition Award.
Second-Place Award | $500 to Ms. Gloria So One Kwon, performing W. A. Mozart: Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 4, K.218. $250 to Ms. Ann Setzer for Teacher Recognition Award.
The First-Place Winner, Ms. Isabel Chen, performed Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 3 by W. A. Mozart in a concert with Fenimore Chamber Orchestra on March 15, 2025.
